what to wear?

One of the goals of the Heartland Festival Orchestra is to remove the "stuffy" stereotype of Classical music.

For every concert the orchestra members wear colorful shirts and black pants. No tuxedos here!

Thus suit jackets are not expected of men and formal dresses are not required of women. We describe the HFO's concert dress as classy casual.

Be comfortable and express yourself.

The best way to judge what to wear is to come to one of our concerts and see for yourself!
