What: Trumpet Legend Doc Severinsen and Stiletto Brass Quintet to appear with Commanday and Heartland Festival Orchestra.

Trumpet legend Doc Severinsen and Stiletto Brass Quintet will join the Heartland Festival Orchestra for a special concert on April 6, 2013. Doc Severinsen is best known for leading the NBC Orchestra on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Stiletto Brass Quintet, formed in 2010, includes Amy Gilreath and Cathy Leach, trumpets; Kelly Langenberg, horn; Jeannie Little, trombone; Velvet Brown, tuba. These highly accomplished women have careers spanning the fields of orchestral, band, and brass chamber music; their performances in a variety of styles and venues delight audiences everywhere.
