The Heartland Festival Orchestra is pleased to announce that we have been invited to perform in Orchestra Hall, Chicago, on Monday, May 16th.

The HFO will be performing Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 under the direction of Artistic Director David Commanday, as well as the Fauré Requiem, directed by Simon Carrington. (Simon Carrington is the founder of the King’s Singers, and currently on the faculty of Yale University.)

The concert, presented by Manhattan Concert Productions, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Bus Rides

We have a few available seats on the buses taking us to Chicago on the 16th and would love to have you join the musicians on this fun trip for only $50 r/t. Please click reply or call the HFO at (309) 339-3943 by May 9 to reserve your spot on a bus. The bus will leave Peoria at 10:00 a.m., Bloomington at 11:00 a.m. and Champaign at 10:30 a.m. The buses will leave Chicago at the conclusion of the concert, approximately 10:00 p.m.
